Default Pearl's mutation

Hey guys!
I've had Pearl for a while now, and I've just been half guessing her mutation the whole time, so I thought I'd ask the experts and get a definite answer this time
It might be a bit of a hassle with the bars infront of the cage, but she's in the breeding cage right now and I dont want to disturb her

is she a greywing or something? Her colours look kind of diluted :/
Thanks!

Your Pearl is beautiful! I'm not 100% sure of her mutation but I can give it a go. I think she is a sky blue violet spangle opaline budgie.
Opaline budgies have some body dilution too.

What a beauty!
And I like her name, it fits her well.
I agree with Aluz.
I might be totally wrong, maybe its my computer screen but does she look like
a cinnamon in the second picture?

I was thinking that too but thought maybe it was my eyes playing tricks on me. She is very pale on her chest and her color deepens towards her rump but her markings look far too dark for most greywings.

I'm really not sure about the cinnamon as she does look like she is in certain lighting.
What about dilute and clearwing? How do those differ to greywing?

Clearwings and dilutes have very pale markings, even more so than greywings so she definitely isn't either of those. Definitely a puzzle

Check her throat spots and see what colour they are. I was having trouble ID'ing a couple of young budgies I had a while back, they were diluted body colour and spangles also. When their throat spots came in I was able to see they were grey, not brown. Also I can't see her cheek patches, are they very pale violet or just white?

hi Allie', thanks for all your help!
For some reason, she doesn't have cheek patches? either that or they're very white
And as for throat spots, hers are a light brown that kind of looks grey.
If we're not able to figure out what she is, what could I breed her with to find out?

Spangles sometimes have clear cheek patches or mottled cheek patches so that's probably not a clue.
I think if she was cinnamon her cheek patches would be a darker brown. I'd say she's greywing If you have a greywing, clearwing or dilute cock (or one split to) to pair her with, you'd find out for sure and have some really pretty babies that look like their momma!
