In the meantime, please take a look at this link:

You'll find WONDERFUL information there that should be quite helpful to you.

(I softened your thread title a bit by putting "experts" in lower case and adding a "please". I think you are doing VERY well in your writing considering English isn't your first language. )
Thanks, i tried changing it but i didn't know how to change the title.
By the way i've used cutelittlebirdies website a million times. that is how i ended up in this forum

Also I must ask if you are breeding in cages or in a colony setting? The chicks do not appear to be the true chicks of the pair in question given their mutations.
Hey Lindsey, Thanks for the reply. I know you are very busy so any time spent to help me out is much appreciated. Also note that i've send you links of my Google drive and you can use any budgie photos or HD videos as you like.

The pair was alone in a small cage (only the 2 of them) all of the time they mated and grew the babies, and they also had a second batch that produced the same babies (again 2 in a single cage). I'm also confused about the parents mutations...

Last month i have placed all of them in a big cage for colony breeding (where she had a third batch of eggs) but i am seriously thinking of having them all separated as i've seen the hens argueing.

I got exactly the same babies in a second batch and also got a GF Mauve Dilute out of them. Based on your website photos the dad has Yellowface Type 2 but his body is not All Yellow-on-blue and his feathers seem to have this Dark layer. It looked like the Goldenface patterns but the Yellow on his head is not that bright. 1/3 of the babies they produced are not YF neither GF, they are just blue. I think dad is a Cobalt YF2/Blue Clearwing/Dilute Opaline and mom is Mauve(OR Cobalt) GF/Blue Dilute Opaline (also Violet(sf)??? but i don't think she has Violet at all)

Here are more photos of the mom. She is the only one that i don't have good photos yet because she is most of the time in the nest. The photos are always tricky and sometimes not exact. The first 3of5 photos are closer to reality.
