Default Detection methods by PCR

I would like to detect an ino gene from a normal budgie split ino (recessive) by PCR method. Please let me know, are there papers illustrating molecular biochemical of budgerigar's varieties, in particular their gene sequences? In addition I am interested in a detection of other recessive genes, such as a recessive pied and a fallow.

Wow, that sure sounds complicated. I can't help you personally but maybe you could try this site. https://didiermervilde.bestofbreeds.n...roduction.html

Very well known in budgie circles and I am sure he could put you on the right path.

Good luck.
