Question Can gray green produce normal greens?

So my daddy bird Forrest is a gray green normal...but I noticed that baby #2,is developing feathers that look like they are going to be normal green, can the babies be didn't variations of green?

As Lindsey says! Grey green is simply a green bird with the grey gene also present. It isn't a shade of green like light green, dark green and olive.

If he is sf grey then half his chicks will receive the grey gene and half won't. So, if he is not split for blue you could get grey greens and greens but if he is split for blue with the right mate you could also get blues and greys!

Ok he is gray green with 2 dark factors...I'm still confused, but all chicks are going to look exactly the same I believe.

Gray green is a very versatile color combo to have Depending on the mate , the sky is the limit. After 4 years last year my first pair gave me yet again a new set of colors. This was their last nest. They have been together all of the time and the hen was asking so I gave in. Great Parents. Blessings,
Jo Ann

Well so far baby #2, looks like she is going to be normal green, and baby #3 looks like he is going to be grey green like his dad(an olive looking color)...I'm still wondering about baby #1, no feather colors have popped out yet??
