Default Mutations - Now that she's grown up is it easier?

I asked when I first got Galadriel and there was a lot of disagreement over her mutations. We never really came to a conclusion. She's a "pudgy" half EB half American. The only non-English I've kept for breeding. She has such interesting colors, I may eventually cross her with an EB for 3/4 babies. I do not have any info on her parents.

I'll put the original pictures, in natural light, first. The last three pictures are current (sorry, with a flash). I have more pictures from different angles, from each set if they are needed. I'd love to nail down her actual mutations. In person, violet is very obvious.

Thank you in advance for looking!

PS - I don't know her precise age, but fairly close. Is it unusual for a hen, still well under a year old, to be that strongly in condition? No worries, she'll be over a year before I breed her, if I decide to do so.

Just found one more picture that actually shows her violet fairly accurately.

The biggest change I notice is her cheek patches seem to be changing from the original lavender to white. Her yellow has also darkened quite a bit. She was a really pale creamy yellow as a baby.

While I can't help you with her mutation, I just have to say she is absolutely stunningly BEAUTIFUL!

Aww, thanks so much Faery. I've only been buying English for some time, but I just couldn't pass her up. I've yet to see another budgie with similar coloration, though I'm sure they are out there. I just hope I have a male that will cross well when she's old enough!

Thanks JW! But wouldn't she have to have something else going on to have no dark markings on her head, neck and wings at all? Or does Dom. Pied sometimes remove all of those markings?

I have her down from the last discussion as very similar to what you say, with just the addition of cinnamon and more specifically SF YF II. I'm getting fair at most common, mutations, but the lack of any dark markings at all confuses me.

She does have some light markings.. but I'm not sure what would cause them... Unless she's a total body greywing.. but can't tell that because of the spangle influence in the wings. She could be Clearwing, that would give some dilution.

Thanks JW! Guess she may be one that I won't know for sure until she has offspring, huh?

Of course, since I don't have any males that are cinnamon or clear/grey wing, I may never know. Sigh.

I am going to go with Spangle Yellow Face 1 full bodied Greywing Dominant Pied and for body colour either Violet Grey or Violet Mauve.

She's beautiful! It will be interesting to see what chicks she has when she is old enough and then you will be able to confirm her mutation better. I have had hens go into breeding condition at 8 months old so I think that is normal.
