Default Any thoughts why this baby doesn't have violet cheek patches?

My question is why the 1 baby doesn't have any cheek patches??? Baby comes from an aviary of Clearwings, Greywings, Dilutes. I think father is Goldenface/Yellowface2 [visual Goldenface(df)], Clearwing /Dilute and mother is Yellowface 2 (sf), Greywing /Dilute. Please note these 2 babies are not related. No spangles, and no other mutations in the aviary.

also here's a video link of the budgie:

Weird. I know with my Lemon, she's a recessive pied so her cheek patches are white. Maybe your bebe's cheek patches are white, but it doesn't show cuz everything else is white too?

Pied chicks can have odd cheek patches. May be pied, may also be the first thing the chick get's during the first/second moult.

I have a baby that has DEEP DEEP Violet cheek patches, almost look beet red.

ok thanks everyone. The only thing it could be is recessive pied OR will need to wait until first moult i guess.
