What mutation is this?

These are our babies from our first hatch. They have an Albino mother (Olaf) and (I'm not sure what mutation) sky blue/white with grey wing marks dad, Skye. Fully pictured is Peep and half pictured is his sister, Repeep (aka Little Lady)

Whoops! I thought my image was cropped! I'll get the hang of this ?

Hello! Haha posting pictures for the first time is always hard, you'll get better :)
To me, they look like little sky blue greywings, but to be sure, I would need to see the wings. They are both absolutely gorgeous!

Aha! So dad was a greywing :)
Peep is a sky blue greywing opaline! He is lovely!

So is it presumptuous to assume Peep's sister is the same? The only difference is her cere, which has white around the nostrils.

No, not presumptuous! Actually, it's likely, and judging by the pictures, they do seem to be the same!
The ino gene (albino) is recessive to normal, as well as being sex-linked, so the little girl doesn't have the albino gene (because if females have the ino gene, it either is visual or they don't have it) and the boy may be split for it.
Sorry, I got a little carried away :giggle: but the bottom line is, yes, they both look to be the same. The only possible difference would be if Peep is opaline and Repeep isn't, and you could tell by seeing which wing pattern matches Repeeps, her brother's or her father's. If her wings are like Dad's, she is a greywing, and if her wings are like Peep's, she is a greywing opaline!

Ill look at her tomorrow. Opaline is when they have their body color between their wings instead of bars or "lacing"?

Please, always get carried away. I'm trying to learn so I can accurately tell what our birds are. It's kind of like learning a foreign language?

Next question...why do you feel Skye and Peep are greywing and greywing opaline vs clearwing or dilute? I looked at cute little aviary's website and saw those options as well...now I'm curious ?
