Default Having trouble choosing..

Hi all!

Im gonna put together at least two pairs this weekend.

But Im having trouble choosing witch one to put together mutations wise.

Can you help me, share your thoughts.

the birds Im thinking about are Carolina, she is df violet cobalt normal.
Im thinking to pair her with one of my GF sf spangle boys.
See attachment,..

the only "downfall" is that they are not very big. But they are over one year old. Do you think Carolina would be a good candidate

Or pair one of them with Röskva, she is dilute, sky blue, rec pied or combo pied. She is a nice hen, good mom. (im horrible, I can never remember exact mutation she is...)

Or one more.. pair one of them with Arte, sf grey, sf spangle. A nice and large hen.

I would pick Arte - she is sf spangle, and with one of the boys you could get GF DF spangle. A cool mutation. Also you say she is large, then she should bring some size to the chicks.

For the 2nd pair I would pick Carolina - she is DF violet, and the chicks will be GF SF violet. A beautiful mutation.

The last hen would also make nice chicks - dilute and pied with GF is so cute. But this will need a second generation for dilute chicks to be visible.
This is why I would pick the other pairs first.
