Default Confused about Chick Mutation...again

Once again, I'm confused about one of my chick's mutations.

The colours on this chick are odd. I know he's a Goldenface type I, and a rececive pied. The markings on his wings are very undefined and blurred, it's not a bad pic. There's hardly any solid definition or contrast.

Fist, a pic of the parents.

Mom Bandit: Mauve, Cinnamon Rec Pied.

Dad, Tango: Goldenface Type I, Opaline, Spangle

And here is the chick in question.

There is another chick that I have questions about, but I'm going to wait until he has a few more feathers before I post pictures.

Thanks for all your help guys!

I'm going to say she looks like a rainbow - also assuming it is female unless the mother is a 'quiet opaline' (my term for an opaline that's hiding / hard to see because of pied).

Looks like goldenface, opaline, possibly dilute and clearwing to me - though as you say, it's very hard to tell. I could be way off lol. Just my 2c - I have a budgie who is an adult who looks just like this but with deeper colours.

He is a DF violet, goldenface, opaline clearwing - I don't really have a GOOD picture of him, but I do have one or two -

Bottom left:

Back hanging on the wire:

If you still can't figure it out in a few weeks' time and you're curious, PM me and I'll grab a better photo of him. I'm overseas at the moment so unfortunately he is a long way from my camera lens at the moment haha. Best of luck!

Thanks Striker.

I'm pretty sure that he (she?) is not a Rainbow though, I wish! There is no possible way to get a clearwing from this pair, since the Spangle on dad would be the dominant gene over the clearwing.

Any more guesses? If it helps, dad is split to Rec. Pied. That's the only other hidden mutation that I know of for this pair.

Thanks! he is a beauty

I don't think he can be a DF recessive pied though, there is no such thing.

I'll post some more pictures tonight, now that all his feathers are perfectly filled in. I'll also post pics of the other chick in question.

Such a joy! Love his/her beautiful eyes!
So many mutation in one try to beat that!
A lot of hidden and a lot of too soon to tell, but your latest guess seems closer to reality.

And here are the pictures of my other Mystery baby, named "Mystery". lol

But, I don't think he's a mystery any more!

My guess is: Goldenface I, Mauve, Opaline. (Male?)
I was expecting to see more of a seafoam green colour, since both parents are blue series and he has the Goldenface I. I'm so in love with this odd colour though! I'm keeping him!
