Guera-dakota89 will become famous soon enough
Default Wierd color?

I have a clutch of three 2 week old chicks.

Mom is a skyblue, opaline, yf2, spangle pied.
Dad is a normal green (no known mutations).

Chicks are looking like yf2 and lutino except 1. It looks like it'll be either lutino or normal green/ yellow pied. but if you put it up to the daylight its pin feathers look fluorescent green. has anybody ever came across this type of coloring/mutation and if so, what color did your bird turn out to look like?

I agree with Toni, pictures of the chick in question would help to identify the mutation.
Just for reference, lutinos and all other yellow based birds are all green-series, so even though they are mostly or all yellow they sill will have variating degrees of green fluorescence

Sounds like suffusion bleeding thru on a lutino... Which while I think it is beautiful it is actually a fault when showing budgies!

I posted a picture above. I don't know whether you guys are unable to see it. Because of the flash on my camera, You cant really see it. But its like a neon green on it's feathers that will be flight feathers then as well as it's tail feathers. I'm on a new computer but I'll try and post pictures of them.

This is chick #2 the one im talking about. If you look @ its tail feathers you can see this bright neon green color. That same color is spread through out its feathers.
