I have a handfed baby hatched 4/1/15 Looked to be a single factor yf type I, sky blue opaline. Now his yellow face is fading but has yellow dots remaining. Both parents were yellow face II , one was opaline, the other normal. I know yf type I can molt and be yf type II but have never seen one loose the face color. Any information you can share with me to help understand?
in the second picture you can see the yellow dots in his cheeks. The last picture are the parents.

What a gorgeous chick! If both the parents were YF II, then he is also YF II. He looks to just be starting his first moult, which is why it looks like his yellow is "fading". Actually, the yellow is always very pale in chicks, and after the first moult, it comes back very bright and also blends in with the body colour to form turquoise, like his parents.
My hen is the exact same mutation as he is--she started off with a very pale yellow face and then it turned much brighter. Here are some before-after pictures:
Here she is as a baby:

And this is after her first moult:

Congrats on such a pretty chick!

Thank you for the excellent explanation. I had both of the parents as young but never remembering them loosing their yellow... maybe they are double factor yellow face??? Any way, your girl looks just like my boy
