Default Sooty's mutation

Here is Sooty.

It has been said that she may be a Texas clearbody or opaline.

She is much more yellow in real life and the cinnamon colour is a rich chocolate brown.

Her parents are Lutino (mum) and olive or grey green normal (dad).

Thanks.

She does look like a TCB but many normal Grey-green opalines do resemble TCB's. The best way is to check her flights . If the colour greys/lightens towards the tips of the feathers , she is mostly a TCB .
Either ways , you have a gorgeous baby right there !

From those photos I would say that she is a Grey Green Opaline Cinnamon. Both Cinnamon and Opaline can lighten the body colour. If she is Texas Clearbody her markings should be faded on the flights, from black to grey usually but if she is Cinnamon TCB maybe that is different.

Not a TCB to me but Sooty is gorgeous

If main tail feather of dad is blue he is olive if black he is grey green

In second photo she looks he to me (I could be wrong on this)

I don't think there is any lightening of the cinnamon on the wings so I don't think Sooty is a TCB.

Originally we thought Sooty to be a boy, but his mum is lutino with no cinnamon markings therefore apparently Sooty must be a she.

Yes I know cinnamon is a sex-linked variety and with this pairing there is no possibility of a male cinnamon thatís why I wrote I am wrong but the cere
