Default Pretty sure about Dusty, but Dawn's mutation(s) confuse me

So if you don't know of my recent situation, you can read about it in this thread: https://talkbudgies.com/housing-budgi...-outdoors.html. Anyways, since I was going to have to wait about a year to start breeding them anyways, I figured I might as well get another pair to start conditioning and raising during this time as well. I originally wanted to get a young male and young female, but ended up getting a young male and an older female just because I doubted myself on the genders of the really young ones haha. Dusty I'm pretty sure is a normal mauve, but Dawn has a lot of interesting things going on (Dusty is the baby boy and Dawn is the adult female). My best guess for her is a SF YF Type II DF Dominant Pied Grey and either spangle, lacewing, and/or opaline? Any help with this? If I need more pics lemme know and I'll try to get them tomorrow. Thanks!

It is hard to see the colours and markings in the photos but I would agree that you have a Grey YF Dominant Pied Spangle and probably Opaline also. Definitely not Lacewing though.

Thanks!! I'm now starting to have second thoughts about Dusty... I'm thinking he may be a grey like Stormy. Can anyone help determine grey vs mauve by pictures or is that too difficult? Stormy and Dusty both look bluer in pictures than they do in real life. I originally thought Dusty was a mauve, but when I saw him and Stormy side by side today I realized their bellies/chests actually seemed to the same color, so now I'm not so sure...

Concerning Dawn's mutation, I agree with Toni completely. As for Dusty, if he is a grey, his cheek patches will be silvery blue or greyish and his tail feathers would be black. If he is mauve, his cheek patches are purple and his tail feathers are blue. To me he looks like a mauve

Dusty is a beautiful little mauve

Can you post another picture or two of Dawn? I see a grey, sf yellowface I sf dominant pied sf spangle (so many sf's ) and what looks like some form of dilution such as cinnamon or greywing, but I can't tell for sure as the photos are a bit washed out. I don't see any signs of opaline myself

Thanks for the info! I'll try to get more pics of her when I go to work tomorrow . I guessed YF II because the yellow does spread down to the rest of the body; it's just very faded (and difficult to see in photos obviously). I agree with the dilution of maybe greywing, pretty sure she doesn't have cinnamon though. Even though the pictures are washed out, I think she has opaline. I'll try to get some better pics tomorrow though!
