Default Gender and Mutation

Hello!

I have a bad feeling I may have put my dear Bucky in with his/her sister/brother rather than one of the opposite gender. They are regurgitating to each other and they're only just over 7 weeks old so I'm really worried about all this.

Are they brother and sister though?
Both are definitely some variation of pied as they have the coin on the back of their heads. But am I able to get some confirmation?

Colour is not natural because it's late but I'll try and take a high quality photo.
In the morning I'll get some mutation colour photos

both photos

The lighting is pretty poor... but what are your guesses for now?
The green one is always grooming Bucky and they both regurgitate to each other

Thank you,
Maddie

Artificial lighting makes it unable to properly see the true colours on the cere and feather colours too.
It's best to take photos using the natural light from the sun.

And about regurgitation, it's common for clutch siblings to feed amongst themselves and this is regardless of gender. Both girls and boys do it and can feed a same gendered sibling.

Please excuse my haste, I had a feeling it wouldn't be able to show anything (well I knew it wouldn't), but I had a panic and thus did something rather foolish!

Here are photos of them during the day here I can get a photo of them side by side as well if a 'comparison' is needed?

Thanks for the information about regurgitation though Aluz .

They're beautiful

To me, the yellow budgie looks to be a girl. Bucky is definitely a little boy

I can't tell much about mutation from those pictures because seeing the wings and lower tummy would help

I think I remember a thread about Bucky in which we discussed the possibility of him being TCB but I don't remember the verdict

I have a different opinion.

I feel the yellow is a female and white is a male .
The white looks like a TCB as well !

What colors are their parents ?
That would help a lot
