Default Breed typing?

Hi guys! I couldn't find a thread that dealt with breed typing. Like figuring out what sort of budgie you have.
When I posted the picture of our second bird (Maize) we got a few months back, someone right away said she was a Lutino That was SO helpful!
Now, I am wondering what our first budgie is. I have looked up some types, but her feet "coloring" is what stops those types from not being her, lol. She has pink feet, most categories state blue or grey feet.

I believe she may be Spangle Single Factor-Sky Blue, just with pink feet.

Description of Ocean- Light sky blue body (chest, belly and bum); white tail, wings and head; LIGHT (faint) greyish, sparse markings on back of head and wings, NO markings on tail (pure white). Dark blue cheek patches. (I will post a picture or two of course)

I used Cute Little Birdies Aviary site (Link- Spangle (Single Factor) Budgies - Cute Little Birdies Aviary )

Thanks for ANY information! I'm just curious, we love her no matter whether we learn what she is or not

Hi Michelle!

You are correct on your Ocean's colour mutation. And your other budgie friend really is a lutino, they are both beautiful!

I'm moving this thread to the Mutations and Genetics section of Talk Budgies where it's most appropriate.

I think the Spangle hen is also a pied, she has a patch of missing markings on the front edge of her right wing.
Does she have any other white feathers amongst her blue?
Does she have an iris ring?
How old is she?

She could be Dominant Pied with few pied patches or a Clearflight Pied.

I agree with Chirper, she does have some pied. It looks like clear flight pied, which is hard to comfirm as spangles don't have flight feather markings anyways.

She is sky blue single factor violet, actually

So I'm going to say sky blue, sf spangle, sf violet, clearflight pied

im going to disagree with pied......she doesnt seem to have the distinctive non marked patch at the back of her head which is a common trait in pied budgies, i have had a spangle with clear main flights.
she looks to be just a blue(one of the blues) spangle to me....also spangle can cause the feet to be pink

It is not the flights that is indicating pied, it's the pied patch further up her wing, where it is clear of markings.

I think it is the same bird The right wing in the first picture seems to be the only patch of white on it, which is not much at all!
