Hello! I have this beautiful 1 month old baby, I'm not really sure what his color is. I would say a double factor dominant pied, but very highly marked? He has a brother who is all white with blue on rump and little mark on wing. They are all opaline that's what I know. He is the yellow one
This is dad, if I'm right, Cobalt Yellowface II, single factor dominant pied opaline
And this is mum, if I'm right, Green cinnamon, single factor dominant pied opaline, split for blue
You sure have quite a lovely budgie family there!
Is Snape the yellow chick? If so, then I agree that your chick is a double factor dominant pied opaline and by looking at the colour on the rump, I think he is dark green in colour.
The chick nearest to the nest box's entrance while I'm unable to see the chest and tummy area, seems to have the typical colours of a dominant pied budgie and seems to be a cobalt violet opaline like the father.
RIP sweet Tito (Summer 2008 - January 17th 2013).
You are missed and never will be forgotten.
