Default What is this mutation? :O

Hello~
I bought home a little budgie a few months ago, and as of now I believe he is in the 7 month area. I am quite curious to see what mutation he has.
I cannot get pictures uploaded as of now, but I will post a few when morning comes (for me).

But here is an instagram account whose budgie looks like mine:

Sorry for not having pictures as of now, someone stole my phone with all my pictures. I'll take some tomorrow with my canon camera.

I'm thinking green clearwing/greywing something something?

Hi Iris and an official to the forums!

Your Tweety is a light green greywing budgie He's absolutely beautiful and looks like quite a character, too

I know you've been making your way around the forums today, which is great! Be sure to read all the "stickies" (the posts at the top of each subforum put there for easy reference) to be sure you're up to date on the best way to care for your handsome little man and his friend, too (Who we'd love to meet as well! You can post pictures of other pets and birds in the "Other Pets" and "Other Birds" sections, we love pictures around here )

If you have questions after reviewing the stickies, feel free to ask!
Hope to see you around the forums and I'm glad you've joined us

Hello, and thank you for telling me the mutation! I knew he was a light green, but I didn't quite get clearwing vs greywing.
I've been reading the stickies, and especially the ones in the breeding part. Since the two are a bonded pair, I'm hoping to breed them during the summer/fall when I get back home and when Deuce is older. I'm going to try to understand the most about mutations and ask some more questions on their babies possible genetic outcomes.
And I'll try to get some pictures in too, thanks!

You're quite welcome! I'm glad to hear you are thoroughly researching breeding before attempting it

When attempting breeding for the first time, you can never know too much and it's very important you read every single article on the forums about breeding, even if you think you know them. I'll ask one of our Admins to post the full list of breeding stickies for easy reference

As for mutations, you can look at this link, by one of our expert breeders on the site, for help on mutations: https://talkbudgies.com/mutations-gen...lor-guide.html

I'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of the others!
