Hi there and to the forums!

Your little budgies are beautiful, congratulations on your new little friends

From what I can see, your hen is a skyblue goldenface opaline dominant pied budgie. However, I can't really see enough of her chest and wings to confirm. Even if it's through the cage bars, a few more pictures would really help!

It's great to meet them both--what are their names?

You've come to the right place to learn all about these gorgeous little birds and the best care you can give them Be sure to read through all the important threads, called "stickies", that are located at the top of each subforum for easy reference. If you have any questions afterwards, be sure to ask as we'd love to help

Hope to see you and your budgies around--we're happy to have you!

Default More Pictures :)

My handsome boy is Fuji and my lady is Freyja
It sounds like she is just a sprinkle of everything lol

I also had a question non related to mutations but not sure where to post it, I know not to and do not use air fresheners I like to use my own mix of orange peel apple juice and spices.
I also know using non stick pans is a no no as well I have been doing it in my cast iron skillet I just want to know if that is ok since the air flow of my house can lead the air past my babies cage.

haha i take about 100 when i picture my birds
I think Fuji may be a female too....because of the white rings around the nostrils, however i may be wrong, i used to have a female who's cere went a blue colour when she was out of season
they are both very pretty

Default Who Knows :P

Who knows I know the local pet shop owner (who is a breeder and owns Fuji's parents) thought Fu was a boy but I agree it is a debate and I honestly am not sure myself. He is so young and his mutations make it hard to tell right now but either way since they are both young and get along well i'm not concerned. I'm happy either sex It's still my Fuji Baby Bird
