Default Help with Budgie Coloring

Hello, I am new here so I don't even know if this post goes here, so if an admin could move it if it is wrong that would be great =)

Anyway, I have a budgie named Austin, and I wanted to know what color he specifically is.. my guess is a green grey clearwing, or an olive greywing.. I could be very wrong and was hoping some experts could look at him, and I wanted to know any special marks/mutations. Basically I would like to know exactly what his colors are. I hope the image will come up.. please let me know if it doesn't. Thank you.

Also, he is about 8 months so he may not have full color yet.. but I don't believe that will really hinder knowledge on what his colors are. I also have another budgie, about 2 years old, named Lance who looks exactly the same, so it would be cool to know what they both are.
*Now I added the pictures of Lance and Cujo as well for coloring.

Hi there, I think he is a Dark Green Greywing, though a photo taken in natural light may show differently......

Hi Rebecca and welcome to the forums!

Your budgie boy is gorgeous and despite the lighting on the photo not being the best, I really think he is a light green greywing budgie.
Having two light green greywings of my own (see Tito Jr and Luigi on my signature pic), I know too well that bright neon green colour on the body feathers.

You can post picture of your other two budgies on this thread.
By the way, I have moved your thread to the Mutations and Genetics section, where it's most appropriate.

Hi there and to the forums!

Austin is a very handsome boy!

I agree that he's definitely greywing, and right now I'm leaning towards dark green greywing, judging by the shade of green visible on his rump.

We'd love to see pictures of your other budgies, too!

It's great to have you join the forums and we hope to see you around

In the meantime, be sure to check out the Budgie Articles and the stickies (threads "stuck" to the top of each subforum for easy reference) to be sure you're up to date on the best practices for caring for budgies!

It's a great place to be and it's so wonderful that you're joining us

Thank you very much for the welcoming

Sorry for the poor lighting, I took some better photos with natural light. Now I have all 3 boys, first is Austin, then Lance, then Cujo.

Also, does anyone know whether they are English or American? I think they are all American.. but sometimes I wonder if Cujo could be an English Budgie? Not sure really.

Also their wings are clipped but Austin and Lance usually have grey wing tips.

Lance and Austin really are light green greywings.
Cujo is a sky blue recessive pied budgie. He is likely a opaline too and may be hiding more traits, but the lack of markings make it more difficult to tell with accuracy.
