Default Breeding expectations ?

Hello!
My budgies had an accidental clutch of three chicks and I did try to use the expectation calculator but it might as well have been in French because I could not figure out how to use it haha. Anyhow I am pretty confident in my guesses at my budgies mutations but I am wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect my chicks to look like?

My female is a single factor dominant pied light green
My male is a normal cobalt

Thank you for taking the time to read and reply!

I am definitely no expert but my guess is all the babies would appear Green, either Light or Dark and be split to Blue, meaning if you ever bred one of the babies with a blue partner you'd get some blues and greens. With these two you'll likely get Normals and Pieds.

I think

Unless your female is split to blue, which you will only know by breeding her. If she is, you could get blue and green normals and pieds

Dee is absolutely correct

If your female is split to blue, you will get some blue chicks and some green chicks. Green is always dominant to blue, so pairing a blue with a green will give you all green chicks split to blue unless the green is split.

As for the pied, for statistical purposes, half the chicks will be sf dominant pied and the other half will be normals

You could get a few surprises--if your male is split for opaline, cinnamon, Ino, or any other sex-linked mutations (which are determined by breeding) then you may get a female or two with one of these traits. For example, if you have an Ino chick in the nest, you know it must be a female and also must be from dad, making him split for Ino. As a sex-linked gene, the father is the only one who can carry it in split form. Hopefully that makes sense

Keep us posted!
