Default Is This a M or F?

A friend of mine was telling me that she recently bought two budgies from a breeder who had been breeding for many year. The pair she got is about 8 months old and she was told it's a male and a female. Since I haven't seen many albinos (I have an albino hen) I'm curious if hers really is a male, as it looks like a female to me... the pictures are not in natural light so it may not be good enough quality. Looking forward to the expert determination

The budgie on the cage's bars is a female.
As to the albino, the cere looks very whitish in colour from the photo and given the fact this was taken in artificial lighting, what we are seeing may not be fully accurate. For now, and based on this photo only, I'd say the albino is also a female.

Thank you Aluz, she's going to send me more pictures later thst I'll share.
This is the second time in a few days that I've heard of breeders being incorrect when determining the sex of their budgies. The first was the two pairs I recently adopted that were supposed to be male and female and were all girls.
What a shame that some of these breeders are not even taking the time to learn the very first thing any budgie breeder should learn.
I'm sorry for complaining. Just very irking when people breed and don't know something so essential. Of course I'll be eating my words on this other lady if it is indeed a male :x

There are good and less than desirable breeders out there.
Some may not be knowledgeable or experienced enough to accurately determine gender, while others simply aren't honest and will lie about the birds' genders just to make a sale. The same thing goes for pet store employees.

Shane, I thought the albinos were pretty in pictures, but to see them in person in natural light...wow! Just stunning
Aluz, I did wonder if the breeders may have lied to make the sale, modtly because both ladies told me their breeders had been breeding for years.
When I got Geronimo from the pet shop I think the employee just had no idea, as he argued with me telling me Geronimo was a girl.
Ah well, if my friend sends photos later I'll update.

Hi Friends!
My best friend's budgies... are they male and female or two females. The pink cere on the albino threw me off... I told her it was a girl but in my recent research now believe it is indded a male... oopsie!!!

Hi Stacy,

You have posted about your friend's budgies before. If the albino has a solid pinkish or purplish cere, then he is a boy.

The budgie on the second photo is a girl.

EDIT: I have merged the two threads about your friend's budgies.

I knew I posted before!!! I still cant get to my notifications which is why I have a hard time keeping up.

This may be the wrong place to post this, but, how can I get her to rehome them? She has 3 cats thattry to attack them every day. She has them up high, but you know cats can jump.
She likes them but always seems to have an excuse not to spend time with them. He kids are 7, 2 and 8 months so I totally get how hard it is, but they are scared of being eaten every day of their life. Is there a sugar coated way or should I just get after her? Her feelings don't get hurt easy like mine, so she can take it lol

Added... I feel bad now for thinking the breeder lied or was wrong
