Default Any thoughts on the sex of these Albino's

Morning everyone...

I have two baby albino's that I am struggling to sex...

Anyone care to help...

There ceres are pink at the base, then are a purpley blue colour, and the nares are a light blue...

Their Mum is an albino and their Dad is a Sky Blue Dominant pied...

I'm trying to get my head around budgie genetics - Ino's are a sex-linked gene, so the budgies must have got the gene from their dad not their mum... So would that make them boys, cause they have a gene from each of their parents?

So confused... lol

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me...

Anj

They both appear female. The dad must be split for albino for you to have got albino chicks and as the mother is an albino you could have had albino chicks of both sexes

If the gene only comes from the male you only get females, if it come from both you get both sexes. This pair would be expected to produce about 50% albinos
