Default ino recessive pied?

I purchased a breeding pair, DF spangle cock and albino hen.
from my understanding ino birds are still meant to get an iris ring correct? since this bird is meant to be mature but lacks an iris ring I take it she's masking rec pied.

She's beautiful, congratulations! Yes, I believe you're right. Do you know how old she is?

I was told 14 months from her previous owner. He was planning to breed her with the cock I got with her, but he has two other ino hens (her sisters) and wanted to make room for some unrelated ino split cocks to go with them

Ah, good to know. So she really is an adult--she very well may be /rec. pied, then! Their chicks will be gorgeous, and exciting with so many surprises!

Keep us posted

Do they have names yet?

You could be right, but I have known ino's with no pied in them to not get iris rings, or not get them till they were adults. If she is it adds a nice chance of even more surprises when you breed!

Is it possible for a creamino to mask the recessive pied as well? My hen is 4 years old (no parent background), and she's got the same thing- solid red iris. I've always been curious as to why it never changed.

A creamino is an ino, so yes it can be masking pretty much anything including recessive pied.
