Default Identifying budgie

I was in a petstore looking for something specific when I saw the little flying babies, and this one caught my eye..

Is it also a recessive pied? I don't have any other photos but it looked slightly lavender.

Yes, the budgie below the opaline sky blue one is a recessive pied.
By looking at the body colour and cheek patches, I think she is a grey recessive pied budgie.

Oh no I didn't take her I was just looking. I thought about it, but I want to be really ready before adding another to the four we have!

Haha sorry for the newbie questions. It's a lot to learn all at once. Can you really tell it's a she by such a poor quality photo?

The cere is mainly white in colour and this indicates female.
In fact all 3 budgies on the pictures you posted are young females.

Also in order to avoid problems when housing budgies on the same cage, it's best to keep even numbers. This way no budgie will feel left out.
