Default About the budgie's feather color

I noticed that this budgie's feather color seems to be different from that of other budgies. Each feather has more than three different colors~light blue, dark blue and purple like the photos i attach。
she is a baby about 2 months old.
Why its feathers will be this mix color??
Is it normal??

thank you very much for your reply!!!

ps. sorry my bad English, hope you know what i mean.

Welcome to the forums!

Your chick's colour pattern is certainly interesting and quite beautiful too.
The difference in colour in terms of shade is likely exacerbated by the violet factor and later on, when your budgie goes through the first moult the colour will be evened out and uniformed. From the photos it seems the chick is a cobalt violet normal budgie.

Hi there and to the forums!

What a precious chick Sometimes the feathers seem to have barring or uneven patches on them. Usually, as with forehead barring and beak melanin, these will even out and fade after the first moult

Do you have any photos of your budgie in natural light, without flash? That will help to determine his exact colour

Meanwhile, you've been given some great resources and links. Be sure to read through everything to ensure that you're up to date on the very best of budgie care practices. If you have any questions afterwards, be sure to ask as we'd love to help!

We hope to see you and your little fellow (what's his name?) around the forums!

Cheers!
