He is a yellow face (probably yf1) grey normal, and may also either be crested or have a feather disturbance going on.

Although that would be really cool, he's not an Anthracite. He may have one or two dark factors, making his grey a really nice deep colour. Anthracites are much much darker than the one in your picture.

He's definitely a good looking bird!

It does have the dark cheek patches that an anthracite would have, but greys can also have that. I think it is not deep enough grey to be one, however, if it was bred by an anthracite breeder they would know for sure. Anthracites can come in all colours and it is another gene that darkens the general body colour. It looks best in a grey in df form as it creates the darkest grey shade.

in my opinion the he is a yf1 mauve (violet) normal! he couldnt be gray because his cheek patches are violet and not grey!

On my screen, it appears his cheek patches are very dark bluish grey, which is usual for grey budgies

If his main tail feather is black, that will confirm that he is really grey and not mauve
