I was online just browsing around reading budgie stuff when I came across a website that talked about the new "misty" mutation. A misty mutation is when a budgie shows a lighter body colour than we know in normal birds (about 25% dilution) and it's a dominant trait. It's darker than a cinnamon. I found it on Didier Mervilde's website and was wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of this or if any of you guys have a budgie like this. A few of my budgies have black markings that aren't black, but instead a dark greyish/brownish color, but I wouldn't consider that a new mutation. I've never heard of this until today and wanna learn more about it.
