What colour cere would a male of this mutation have?
I am going to look at a possible budgie for my hubby Daniel this afternoon, after my attempts at rescue fell through
We are going to look at a budgie which was described to us as "Blue with a yellow face and white cheeks".
Now, I am clueless about genetics, but I know that sometimes genders aren't easy to tell with certain mutations. Eg males of certain mutations will have pink ceres.
Does anyone know what colour cere a male of this particular mutation should have?
The place we are going isn't sure what gender it is, and I'm scared I won't be able to tell. We are looking for a male to balance out our flock. Although, Daniel said if it turns out to be a girl we can just get two more boys I wonder if he was joking...
Your welcome. But yes BLUE is what your looking for. yea how exciting I wish I could go with. Every time go to my friend who is a breeder I come home with a new bird. I went from 2 to 10 in no time lol. I only have one that is not from him. But the one that isn't is from his really good friend.
