Hello everyone,
I'm having a hard time determining if my baby budgie is a dilute or greywing. Neither of those mutations show in her parents but i know sometimes it can be hidden. I viewed cute little birdies aviarys dilute and greywing distinctions but i still think im struggling.

So i wanna say shes a greywing? Based on her cheek patches?

Oh and she is a she right?

She's beautiful!

This little girl is a sky blue SF violet opaline greywing Her markings are much too dark to be dilute.

Since greywing is a recessive mutation, both parents must be split for greywing

Haha thank you! That's crazy because i know for sure both parents are pied and the daddy is a skyblue opaline and mom is a green/yellow pied opaline....i guess there would be a little violet because now looking harder at mom and dads cheek patches they do look purple!! Wowee

Oh, another thing-- is her cere more pink or more light blue? In the last photo, the cere looks pink. If so, it's a BOY!
