Hi there and
to Talk Budgies!
It's great to have you here with us; you couldn't have come to a better place to learn even more about these beautiful birds!
To answer your question, a clearwing opaline will look like a normal opaline except for all body markings will be extremely faded, in other words, yes, the body colour is in the wings and there will be no markings between the wings, as well as only faint head barring. Due to the diluting effects of the clearwing, it's possible it will be very difficult to identify any head markings at all.
Here are some photos for comparison (thanks to Google Images for the photos):
Additionally, be sure to look through the forum's many Budgie Articles and "stickies" (threads "stuck" to the top of each subform for easy reference) to stay up to date on all the best practices for caring for budgies. If you have any questions after reading through anything, be sure to ask as we'd love to help!
We look forward to seeing you around the forums!
