Hi! to Talk Budgies

The title of your thread has been changed.
"help" is not an appropriate title as indicated in the forum's Site Guidelines.

Your little budgie is very cute and I'm sure one of our mutations experts will be able to advise you with regard to its mutation.

However, you will need to post better pictures for them to be able to do so.

When you upload pictures as thumbnail attachments directly from your computer, tablet or phone, the forum automatically defaults to landscape.

To upload full-sized pictures with the proper orientation, please use a photo-sharing service such as Imgur and follow the steps in these instructions:
How to Post Full Size Pictures from a Photo Sharing Site

By the way, all photos entered in any of our forum contests must be a full-size photo and not a thumbnail attachment so it's good to know how to upload them!

Posting full sized, clear in focus pictures of your budgie in a full frontal view, from the side and one from the back will allow us to see the wing pattern, tail color, color of cheek patches, etc.
Please ensure the pictures are taken in natural light - not with a flash or in direct sunlight.

Please take the time to read through the Site Guidelines, all of the How To Guides, the FAQs, the Budgie Articles and the stickies located at the top of each section of the forum.

Truly, the very BEST advice anyone can offer you is to take the time to read ALL of the stickies throughout the various Talk Budgie forums as well as the Budgie Articles we have posted.

These are great resources for Talk Budgie members and have a wealth of reliable information which will assist you to learn the best practices in caring for your budgies for their optimal health and well-being.

You have come to a great place to learn about best practices in budgie care! FaeryBee has given you good advice on how to post a better picture. From the picture you have posted, I can tell you have a male budgie in the blue series. Since you probably already knew that, it's not terribly helpful. I look forward to seeing more of your cute bird!

Hi there and to the forums!

From what I can see, your little one is a sky blue spangle budgie, although the photo you posted is of very poor quality and I'm not able to see his wings to properly confirm that

Meanwhile, you've come to the very best place to learn even more about budgies. Be sure to read through all the articles and "stickies" (threads "stuck" to the top of each subforum for easy reference) to ensure you have all the right information to care for this little one. A roomy cage is a great start!

If you have any questions after reading through everything, please be sure to ask as we'd love to help

We'd love to see more of him when you get a chance!

Cheers!
