Default Question about fledgling’s color

I hope these photos do justice...i paired what i thought were a normal sky blue and normal light green budgie...but little fledgling is so dark, i’m Wondering if this means that the baby either:

1.inherited a dark factor from mom, meaning he’s now olive, and she’s actually a cobalt, or
2: one of the parents is actually masking grey or violet, making the baby grey green or green violet, as opposed to olive.

(The blue is the hen and the green is the cock.)

Thanks to anyone who can help!

The parents look to be a light green normal and a cobalt normal (though she may also be violet). The chick looks like a dark green, having received a dark factor from Mum. The other option is that it is a violet light green, but it looks like a dark green to me.

I agree with Toni~

The mum looks to be cobalt violet, which means your chick is likely either dark green, violet green, or a combination of the two (violet dark green). ^-^
