Skyblue or cobalt looks like the color? I caught the spangle, good eyes Teasha seeing the opaline . What a pretty bird! Is he or she still a baby?

Yeah, the last one out of a clutch of eight lol .

Also how could you tell that it is opaline ?

I was told that my male ( The Fuzz ) Was a normal violet cobalt and my female ( Mickey ) was a YellowFaceTwo Skyblue Spangle Recessive Pied , Where from that would create Opaline ?

Im kind of confused lol

Your bird is a blue spangle but it doesn't look opaline to me

If it was opaline it would mean that the father was split for opaline and the chick would be female

With a spangle, wouldnt it have very thin black lines, with lots of white, or something like that?

Because they are somewhat thick black lines.

There is no doubt that it is spangle. The width and the shade of the black markings varies between birds.
