Default Violet english mutation?

Hello everyone!

I just got a new pair today and I hope I can get some help with the hen!

She is white on her back, tail, wings and head. But then right under where her throat spots would be if you could see them there is violet, and small faint violet splotches on her chest and a little around her vent area. I have albino and dark eyed clears that have faint blue sheen sometimes on all of their body when in the right bright light from the blue base color but nothing like this one, its a very dark violet (which of course you cant see very well in the pictures!) but only in a few areas and you can see it in any lighting. Her cheek patches also are brighter than my others.
Can a double factor spangle show this much violet though? Please let me know what you think she is

I don't know much about diluted mutations but that's what I would guess. Maybe a clearbody. Not sure.

i do not think the df or sf of the violet would effect the amount of suffusion (the amount of colour showing). i imagien it is more of a failure of the df spangle to suppress it totally.

I actually think the standard for DF spangles SHOULD be clear birds with suffusion. In the early days, the DF spangles had a clear body with a suffused chest. I think they should have kept it that way as they already had the dark eyed clear (white/yellow with black eyes) and the albinos and lutinos, so adding another white/yellow with black eyes is pointless. And considering the SF spangle is so well known because of its beatiful markings, the DF spangle shouldnt really be considered a spangle because it doesnt even HAVE any spangle markings - so really the chest suffusion was the only thing seperating it from other clear bodied birds and perhaps helping to identify it as a DF spangle.

Just my thoughts anyway.

interesting dean. if they started out with suffusion then it would be good to getthem back that way, it is a lovely effect. it is such a shame when the original forms of a variety are lost, but some of the changes that are made are also lovely....
