This is my other new girl, Luna. She's really hard to photograph. She always looks way to bright with flash and way too olive without it, but here are some pics. My guess is she's a grey factored green greywing, but I don't know. She seems so different from my other greywings and my two other grey factored birds. She's got cornflower blue cheek patches like my two other grey factored birds, but she's so much lighter than my other grey factored green hen, Vera. I'm guessing because she's also greywing and that dilutes body color??? I'm still learning all this genetic stuff, so please correct me if you think she's something else. Thanks!
I think that your bird is a grey green cinnamon combined with either greywing or clearwing. She's not opaline. Here is a picture of one of my birds that I know is a cinnamon clearwing from it's breeding
She looks like my Woodstock did when he was a young boy. I would agree with Nev90 and say dilute green cinnamon greywing, possibly split w/blue. Check out pic #4, you can see tinges of sky blue near her cute little butt. With each molt, she may green up a little more. She's a little cutie!!
greywing does dilute the body colour yes. however there is also a variety called 'dilute' just to confuse things... i was trying to clarify whether crowfriend was talking about the variety or the strength of colour.
