Talking Mutations?

Hi Guys,
I have two new male budgies, but i'm not sure of their colours! I think one might be a Greygreen dilute? & the other is a YF2? Not sure of their exact mutations,
What do you guys think?
Thanks

hi there,

the green looks like a greygreen cinnamon to me. check if the long tail feathers have a brown quil....

the other is a skyblue yf2 opaline something... could be spangle or clearwing...would help to see a photo of the wings.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, i'll try my best to take a pic of his wings, but he moves around A LOT, the greygreen isn't a cinnamon, the colour on his wings & tail look diluted & light greyish.
Thanks

if the markings are grey then i would say it is a greywing. the body olour that i can see is too dark for a dilute i think.

They are beautiful. I think the blue on might be a rainbow if it is clearwing. It looks like the wing colors are blue from the opaline and yellow from the yf2, which I believe is consistent with descriptions of rainbow budgies. How exciting!

hi again,

the 'rainbow' looks like it might be a spangle (silver in cheek patches), which would make it a skyblue yf2 oplaine spangle. not an official rainbow but just as lovely!

the other could well be a clearwing (sometimes called yellow wing if they are green) with heavier than usual markings. is the body colour on the front normal strength or paler than usual?
