i got this little fella yesterday,dont know what breed, apparently they said he is about 1 year old.
gonna try and tame him, but dont know what to call him, any ideas?

Looking at him - I would say he is a sky blue opaline spangle and I can't make out if he also has pied in there too. Not fully experienced on mutations so someone may advise some more.

He is lovely too

I see he is in a round cage and has plastic perches. Birds do not like round cages as they have no corner to go to if they feel the need plus round cages tend to be high but not wide. So they will be unable to fly since they fly horizontally. Plastic perches are bad for their feet and can cause bumble foot. Natural perches are much better for them.

He sure is a cutie!

hi

this is just a temporary cage. I hope to put him in with my other budgie after quarantine. I wont keep him in their too long. i dont like this cage but father inlaw got me the budgie yesterday and I was not expecting him. Gonna sort it out

i would say skyblue spangle, not an opaline. spangles often have the body colour tints on the neck and shoulders.
