Default Colour of budgie?

This is my new budgie, Im told its a male... but I think its a female.

This is a terrible picture, but any thoughts on colour?

It is def a form of pied - but so hard to tell from the pic sorry - if you can post some new ones it would be really helpful

Either a dominant pied or a clearflifgt pied. Both have clear flight feathers but the dominant pied also has some clear (white) areas on the lower body front

I think its a dominant pied, I think there are some white ares on the lower body too.

Thanks for the info about the wheel, it came with the cage so Ive just left it in there thus far. Ill take it out though
