And to make things even more interesting, a bird can be both cinnamon and greywing. My budgie-boy Penske is an olive-green greywing cinnamon (he is a greywing, but not a full-bodied greywing.)

Usually the surest way to tell a cinnamon from a greywing is by the tail. The main tail feathers on a cinnamon are usually blue whereas a greywing will always have a grey tail

i had the same problem with my girl Halo i was so confussed, but i found she is deff greywing by as Nev said the tail. lovely bub you have

My Jaspers tail is blue. There are no grey tail feathers, only lighter and darker blue ones. ( I really wish I had my camera!!)
What does this mean??

It means Jasper is cinnamon

There can be a lot of variation in the shade of brown on a cinnamon. Show breeders always select the the ones with the darkest markings for breeding

Also it is usual for a greywing to have grey feet and a cinnamon to have pink feet (except when they have a grey factor)

He looks cinnamon to me in the picture too
