Cinnamon and Grey-Wing

There has been much debate in my family about little Jasper. The argument always comes down to, is he a grey-wing or is he a cinnamon.
I am pretty sure he is a cinnamon, and I'm also pretty sure I'm bias! I have thrown his picture up on a couple of websites, including this one and I am getting really inconclusive results. His wings aren't overly grey, and they're not overly cinnamon, so I have no idea! I don't know anything about his parents. I'll throw up some pictures in a couple of minutes, but first can I get a brief description of both? Are there any characteristics that would tell one from another? Foot colour? I don't have any pictures of him when he was little either, and I never checked for plum eyes. I just know they were fully dark not so long ago.
Thanks in advance.

Cinnamons have brown markings and throat spots and have a 50% diluted body colour, feet are usually pink and they have plum coloured eyes which are very noticable when they have just hatched.

Greywings come in 2 'types', a Greywing will have grey markings and throat spots and a 50% diluted body colour however a full bodied greywing will also have the grey markings and throat spots but will not have diluted body colour.

Here are some pictures to help you:
Normal Budgie in the middle: however note the bird on the right, he is a full bodied greywing you can see his throat spots, the bird on the left is Cinnamon

This seems to be the problem. He has black throat spots, but his feathers are a greyish brown. More-so grey than brown, but it's definitely there. His eyes are a golden brown. Pink feet.

I think you're confusing cheek patches (uneven patches), which are usually violet, with throat spots (round spots), which are usually black. In some mutations, the cheek patches are not violet and/or the throat spots are not black.

You're quite right! I just got the wording wrong! Thanks XD

I'm still a bit confused with my own bird though. He seems to be a blend in my eyes.
That picture above is really accurate for his colouring. =D

If he's a cinnamon the cinnamon should run down the quill. He doesn't look cinnamon to me.

I think he is a greywing :)

I have a greywing female that looks so simalar to the color of yours(She is on the left in first 2 pics and the right on the 3rd) She is a full body greywing though and also opaline. She has almost browinish markings too, but has given me many greywing babies with her greywing mate :)

P.s Sorry she was a little ruffed up in the pics... this was when I first got her and she had a pit of a rough time in the travel cage

I've been thinking that.
Good thing I kept a bunch of his feathers that have fallen out over the course of his molt!
The colour is black, not cinnamon. So grey-wing then? Finally settled XD

Ah perfect picture! She is a sweetie! I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing that brown hint, because I was starting to think I was nuts. I'm glad I finally get to know what he is! Thankyou for the help. ;)
