Unfortunately at this time Nev I can't. The two birds suspected as Dusk are still yet to be proven and I am on the waiting list to get confirmed individuals.

The Brownwing birds I had years go may have been the Faded variety but as the birds I obtained as Brownwings were all gray factored birds I was unable to gauge the level of body colour. I had to breed away from the grey factor which finally I did, producing a sky hen and it is at this point that the difference became evident. At the time I also had Faded but never took pics of them and the next step was to pair this hen with a Faded cock but I gave up the hobby and all the birds were dispersed never to be seen again.

I am trying to scource these birds again and in a couple of weeks I will again have Cinnamon Darkwings, Saddlebacks and a Faded hen. I have to wait for the Dusk for at least 12 months. The ?Brownwing, well I will contact the breeder I got the original stock but I don't hold much hope she still has them and there was a fertility and libio issue.

Yes both do. The Brownwing however has a red eye on hatching as do Fadeds. Can't remember off hand which but one is not as visible as an adult.

I love the look of this budgie! I am terrible at guessing budgie types, but he almost looks like a little hawk or something, lol, so cute!
