Default Possible outcomes????

Hi
Sorry to bother everyone again but I have been looking about to try and work this out and have come up with nothing LOL

I have been trying to work out what hen to pair my male lutino with and what the possible out comes would be (he is not split with anything as far as i know)

1)Opaline grey
2)Recessive Sky Blue Pied
3)Green Cinnamon

I'm guessing if I put it with my Albino hen i would get all lutinos but could be completely wrong!!

Thanks for any help you can give i just find the mutations really confusing right now but hopefully i'll get it soon!!

Craig

Well I didn't really have to decide in the end my lutino male seems to have taken a liking to my green cinnamon hen so i guess i will stick to that.

If she was not a cinnamon i would have a guess that i would get normal/lutino males and lutino hens but as she is cinnamon i'm really confused on what to expect

I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this

Thanks
Craig

I'm neither a breeder nor a mutations expert, but I do know that lutino and green cinnamon are both green series. Green is dominant to blue. Thus, all chicks will be green series unless both cock and hen are split to blue.

Here's a good color and mutations website: https://www.****************/colorsguide.html. Click on a mutation then click on the link to genetics for that mutation.
Here's lutino genetics: https://www.****************/gen_ino.html. Lutino is a recessive sex-linked gene. According to the chart, 100% of female chicks will be ino.
Here's cinnamon genetics: https://www.****************/gen_cinnamon.html. Cinnamon is a recessive sex-linked gene. According to the chart, you won't get any cinnamon chicks unless the cock bird is split to cinnamon.

Please post some pictures!

If your lutino male is not split for blue all his daughters will be lutino regardless of which hen is is mated to.

The male ckicks will all be split for ino and you can expect greens & grey greens with the opaline grey hen & all greens with either of the other two

You are right that if the lutino is paired with an albino hen all the chicks will be lutino split for blue unless the lutino is split for blue. If he is split for blue you'll get about half each of albino & lutino

Here are pics of a few of my budgies, but don't ask me what they are cause i'm not sure although i have had a guess with some of them.

Oh and i'm sorry the pics are not that good.

I'm sure she is a Green Cinnamon

I'm not sure what these 2 are although i think from looking around they are also cinnamons but hey i could be way off

And this one i know is a yellow face but apart from that i got nothing lol

If anyone knows what they are and could let me know i would be really grateful
