Even though I breed, I always stop by the pet store. Lately I have been seeing normal blues with white patches on the back of the head (also green normals with Yellow patches) They are completely normal except for the patches. Does this mean they are slit to pied or something??
I have an English spangled male with a blue splotch on the back of his head. He isn't split for any pied. It's just irregular coloring. Usually a seemingly normal bird with a spot on the back of it's head does mean it is split for pied. It could also be a heavily patterned pied. If it is just a couple feathers it could also be irregular coloring.
