They are both spangles and I think cobalt, but not sure about the colour. Do you know the parents? One of them must also be spangle.

Nope neither parents are spangles thats what has confused me a bit as i thought that was what they looked like.

I don't really have great pics of the parents but here we go

Here is Mum

and dad

You can't really see it in the pics but they both have a really deep purple colour.

Thanks again

I'm going to take a wild guess: the cock is a dom pied spangle. The babies did look a bit violet to me as well - that's why I said I'm not sure of the colour. Why don't you PM Lindsey and Nev. They will certainly be able to tell. There are others as well.

The cock lacks so many wing markings I would think spangle could hide there.

The chicks are both spangle.

The hen is a normal cobalt and the cock is a (recessive?) pied spangle

I was close! Tell me does the cock has iris rings or not? If not, then it is a RP like Nev said (He's 99,9% of the times correct). Tasha said that the second chick is a dom pied spangle. If the cock is a RP then the baby can't be a dom pied.
