Default A bird split for Albino??

I have just read in a post the mutation of a bird: blue spangle/albino.
If that bird is paired to a green bird that is not split blue you ill get lutino babies. So in other words you can't say /albino; it must be /ino.
I'm I right?

You're correct, Dries. The split form should say INO. There are 3 types of INO : albINO, lutINO and creamINO.

Yep you are correct it is split Ino

When a Green not split to blue But Split ino is put with a Blue based bird who is NOT an Albino - ALL females will be Lutino

If a green series bird split to blue & Ino is put to a blue based non Albino bird All females will be Lutino & Albino

and of course if the Female is Albino and the male is Split to blue you'd get both Lutino and Albino Females and Males

if the male is not split to blue and put to a Albino female You'd get Female and Male lutinos

hope that Makes sense

your the only one i've ever seen say there's 3 types of inos - never really thought of it that way - since a Creamino is just a Yf 2 Albino I never thought of it as an "INO" on its own like that before

and you can't get a Creamino in Lutinos (Green series) just for the record in case any one was wondering - it's only a Albino (blue based) Mutation

Yup creamino is basically an albino with yellow colour. The name sounds nice only. I have 1. She is already a mother.

Me too. The yellow in mine has spread so much she almost looks like a lutino. Thanks for the replies - just wanted to make sure.
