Default Spangle inside?

OK same question as happybudgie. Does Chiffon have spangle in her? I noticed last week as the flight feathers are growing back in that they have black lines on the tips. So far I only see them on the flight feathers. The lines dont show up as well in the photos as in person. In person they are distinct markings. The are darker on one side than the other at the moment but they are there.

Thanks Rick

Here is a cutout I think you can see the black lines better on the flight feathers. Do you think these are spangle markings? They still look darker in person.

Thanks Rick

Her eyes are dark, aren't they? They look dark in the
photos -- at least to me. If so, she may be a double
factored spangle, which gives you the dark-eyed
yellow bird and I think could account for what you're
seeing. My Delilah, who is a DF spangle, also has
those lines you speak of.

Her eyes are a dk red or maroon color. When I got her she was pure white with the tiniest amount of a yellow hue in spots. As she molted she turned mostly yellow. Her wings were clipped when I got her and as the new flights grew in they are pure white with black lines on the tips.

Where did you get her Rick? If you got her from a breeder, is there any way to contact the breeder and find out what her genetics are? That would be the best way to determine what her mutations and splits would be.

If thats not possible, this is what I think:
I think it possible you have an Albino YF M2 masking spangle. It's not unheard of for ino's to have some of their masked traits begin to show through in successive molts. In showing it would be considered a fault, but since that's not a concern in your situation, it's not a big deal.

I'm reasonably sure your bird isn't a DF spangle because of the red eyes, though I suppose the possibility exists that the bird is an YF M2 ino masking DF spangle with the markings coming through... but I think that'd be really stretching it!
