I can't help you with dr or sf... But without knowing his genetic background and what he and the hen may be masking it is hard to tell what you will get.

You either have to breed him to find out if he is sf or df, of as parrotlet said, know all of his lineage and their mutations

For sure you will get normal greens(if he is sf grey) and grey greens(either if he is sf or df grey)!

oh he is soooo gorgeous! I am lusting after a grey boy budgie!!! They are so sleek and handsome!

I am afraid to go back to Pet Smart because there has been one there for the last month or so. I don't want to buy one from them but I am starting to feel bad for the little guy, I think his color is unappreciated there compared to all his brightly colored cage mates!
