After the sad demise of Josquin a month ago, Bluebirdie needed a new pal, and the silence in the house was unbearable, so we decided to give a home to a new budgie, Guido.
Enclosed is a picture of our new friend, he is doing very well, as is Bluebirdie, who seems to be very happy again! Guido is a very playful budgie, he is quite a clown and is getting on very well with us, already learning to step up on my finger and playing with Bluebirdie, flying squadron-style across the house.
Guido is a very attractive budgie. Seems you picked the right bird. All at home and you are pleased with Guido, and so is your other bird. Guido does not just look ok and in good health, he is very attractive. If I need to get another bird soon, would love to have a bird that looks like Guido.
Hi! Guido is just so beautiful to me, I'm happy that he has already warmed up to you. Do you know what his mutation is? He is just so gorgeous. Also, I'm very happy to hear that your other baby Bluebirdie is so much happier now. I understand which is why I got my budgie a friend, too.

Thank you very much for your interest and the information about Guido's mutation. I plan to start an ongoing thread as suggested. I have lots of good stories to tell, Guido is a fantastic budgie, full of humour and very active. Bluebirdie and Guido have really hit it off together and are now inseparable. Guido loves chewing stuff and I have built a 'tree'inside the house with some wood branches and toys, and they spend hours playing, chewing everything and chirping. It is wonderful! I will try to make the time to post a story and lots of pictures.
