I got to bring my little one home today! I'm pretty sure he's male, but I'll be sure to post a picture of his cere when I have a chance to verify that
The breeder said he's about 12 weeks old (so hard to tell, he has virtually NO barring on his head!) I'm so excited to start my journey with this little guy! Here's the pictures I've gotten of him so far.
First time I met him at the breeder's- he was about 8 weeks old then
Here he is in the carrier before we started heading home
Thanks FaeryBee! I definitely plan to start an ongoing pictures thread!
It was so hard for me to not check on him every 5 minutes! He's way too cute!
I was proud of him for exploring his cage- I just checked on him and he appears to have chosen the swing as his sleeping spot. Glad it wasn't his food dish- he seemed to spend most of the day on there, silly little bird
Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well!
Thank you! He really does look like a cloud with just a tiny patch of blue sky poking through

Thank you! I agree, he's too cute for words! He seems to be doing well today, heard him chirp a few times and he isn't quite as freaked out when I approach his cage. Still doesn't like hands in his cage though, poor guy flew to the other side when I changed his food/water this morning.

I have to say that my name is also Kathryn Always nice to see someone that shares your name.
Thanks! I think I got his name by looking through a pet names site, he just seemed like a Niko to me, though I think that the name probably came from the Percy Jackson series in the beginning!
There seems to be so many Katherine/Kathryn/(choose your favorite spelling)'s around! I swear, I've met so many just over the past year. Awesome to see that we share the same name!
