Hi there !

Your female looks like Yellowface 2 Opaline Fullbody Greywing and your male is a Yellowface 2 Opaline spangle. I think your male might be a Double factor Yellowface type 2.

Hi there and to the forums!

Your budgies are beautiful, I agree with Vinay with regards to your birds' mutations with the addition that both birds appear to be sky blue sf violet in addition

You've been given great resources above!
Be sure to look through the links provided by FaeryBee, which include the Budgie Articles and "stickies" (threads "stuck" to the top of each subform for easy reference) to ensure you're up to date on the very best of budgie care

I hope to see you around the forums!

Cheers!

Thank you vinay For the reply mate,
Thanks also Faery bee I def will check those stickys out mate. Thanks starling wing there def is a lot of info but slowly getting through it ?? i have breed cockiteals, green check conures and Quakers but not budgies yet. I am Doing a little more research before I plan on breeding these guys.

I plan on getting a different hen for him and cock for her, what types would I be better to look for to breed with mine?
Also what types of babies would these produce in your guys experiences?
I have found a couple of sites that show the split of babies but still have a lot of reasearch in this area of budgies.

Thanks again guys this forum is great

Even though you've bred different species of birds, budgies are much smaller and different than the others.

Before breeding any species, it is important to learn as much about the animals, their personalities and the best practices to follow for responsible and ethical breeding prior to making the commitment to take on the responsibility. This requires extensive research and an openness to continual learning.

I'd recommend beginning with the Stickies at the top of the Breeding Section of the forum:

Good luck and Best Wishes!
